Speed Talk 2014 Season Wrap

2014 Marked the 6th season of covering Motorsports on KRWC for Jason and Dean.  We reported on many great races in the Upper Midwest from Iowa Speedway to Elko Speedway and Brainerd International Raceway.  We also broadcast live from lots of interesting venues including the Gear Head Get Together in Maple Lake, the Classics by the Lake Car show in Buffalo and the Mud Spectacular at the Wright County Fair.  We were able to interview 67 different drivers this year, we love to hear the emotion in their voice from telling their story in their own words.

NASCAR stars on Speedtalk Saturday

Jason and Dean from "Speedtalk on 1360" radio just spent a weekend at Iowa Speedway covering the NASCAR Nationwide series.  Those interviews will be broadcast on Saturday May 28th, 10-11am on KRWC radio http://www.krwc1360.com/

Dean had the opportunity to interview "the Herminator" Kenny Wallace after his 500 career Nationwide series start, finishing a season best 6th place at Iowa Speedway.  He also talked to fourth place finisher Reed Sorenson after a real good run at Iowa Speedway.

Jason had the opportunity to interview #20 Drew Herring who turned some heads by leading the Iowa John Deere Dealers 250 for many laps early in the race

Jason also interviewed Wisconsin drivers Tim Schendel #0 and Scott Wimmer #70, Schendel recently won the ASA Midwest tour race in Kaukauna WI, and Wimmer had a good lead lap finish at Iowa Speeday finishing 15th.

Jason also interviewed #13 Jennifer Jo Cobb after her Nationwide career best finish of 26th place.

MRN (Motor racing network) and PRN (Performance racing network) alternate coverage at the NASCAR tracks and do a great job.
