Sadler wins at Iowa Speedway

#2 Elliott Sadler passed Justin Allgaier with 58 laps remaining and held on to win the U.S. Cellular 250 NASCAR Nationwide race in front of 50,000 fans at Iowa Speedway.  This is his fourth win of 2012, he extended his point lead to 18 points over Austin Dillon who finished a lap down in 15th place.

Darrell Wallace Jr lead for a few laps early in the race, #3 Austin Dillon (video above) took over the lead on lap 36 and held the lead for 53 laps until having to pit under green because of a vibration and losing a lap on the track.  Justin Allgaier then held the top spot until being passed by Elliott Sadler in corner #2 on lap 192.

The race was run in 1 hour 53 minutes, their were no major crashes, only three cautions, and a few drivers struggled with the long green flag run at the end of the race.  #54 Kurt Busch was in third place and had to pit with only 6 laps remaining in the race, dropping him to 17th place.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr (above) started 11th and fought his way up to third before losing track position on a pit stop and finishing in 5th place, he stays in 3rd place in the point standings but is now 21 points behind Elliott Sadler.  The #6 crew made some major adjustments to their car during a pit stop at Iowa Speedway.
#7 Danica Patrick ran a good race, staying on the lead lap and finishing in 11th place, she then stayed after the race and signed autographs for fans.

Sam Hornish Jr finished 3rd and won the Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash $100,000 bonus for both himself and a fan, Tammy Altieri who joined him for a celebration on pit lane.
